Angela Davis 1971 Power and Equality Socks

In the 1971 "Power and Equality" poster of Angela Davis, the artist depicts her, a black woman of the 60s equal rights era, resplendent in her "afro" and psychedelic jewelry. Beautiful and proud, he shows her raising her eyes to a future that holds the promise of equality, self-respect and empowerment. That poster, and what it represents, is what we wanted to capture on these socks.
